A Gorgeous Antique French Rococo Gilt Wood Mirror. 18th Century.

This is an extraordinarily exquisite mirror.
French, in the Rococo style from the early to mid 18th Century.
Hand crafted in gilt wood and stucco with the original mercury mirror plate showing just the right amount of silvering and foxing.
Finished in deep gold gilt that only age and time can influence.
This really is a remarkable centrepiece; incredibly rare to find at this age; in this condition.
Indistinguishable stamp to rear

Wall mountings attached but can free stand.
In excellent antique condition commensurate with age and use. Structurally solid. Silvering and foxing is visible on the mercury glass plate and the odd bump to the frame but no losses.
This is a genuine antique and as such may well show signs of use and wear commensurate with age.
