An Incredible Decorative Antique Wooden Trunk. Circa. late 1800's.

This just an incredible find, one of my personal favourites this year!
A stunning wooden antique trunk or chest.
Wooden structure that has been decorated over in the much distant past to create a totally unique piece of decorative art.
Obviously functional as a trunk for storage but a decorative delight.
Handle to the top.
One doesn't come across pieces like this too often.
Approx. max. dims: H: 315mm, W: 465mm, D: 315mm
In good antique condition. It's a bit rickety, hinges a bit loose, but it's all there. No clasp to the lock but the lid shuts tight. A few minor bumps, marks and scrapes as one might expect but nothing that detracts to the sheer beauty of this unique find.
This is an original antique and may well show signs of use and wear commensurate with age.
