Devine little Florentine shelf / wall sconce.
Italian in origin but sourced personally from the Centre-Val de Loire region of France.
From around 1900.
Stunning design, in gilt wood with gesso detailing. Gold gilt finish with an abundance of greens, blues and reds to add real depth of colour and patina to this fabulous piece.
A real gem!
Two brackets to the rear to mount to the wall.
Approx Max Dims: H: 145mm, W: 350mm, D: 120mm
In excellent antique condition, no signs of damage or repair. Structurally solid, some light wear to the top surface and the odd knick to the gilt work but nothing noteworthy and certainly nothing that detracts from the beauty of this delightful shelf.
This is an original antique and may well show signs of use and wear commensurate with age.
