French, from around 1880's.
Made in bronze with a gold gilt overlay.
Beautifully proportioned with age and use related patina.
Gives a hint that it might of been part of a larger ensemble at one point but stands handsomely on it's own.
A quiet, understated, pretty decorators piece.

In excellent antique condition. Some age and use related wear to the gold gilt but in no way does this detract from the beauty of this piece.
This is an original antique and may well show signs of use and wear commensurate with age.
