French antique gilt wood and gesso mirror.
Perfect amount of silvering / foxing to the original mercury glass mirror plate.
Slight losses to the gesso on the frame but this; along with with the silvering of the mirror glass; just makes this a completely unique piece.
Very solid and heavy.
Perfectly proportioned, can be hung either vertically, horizontally or free stand.

Sourced by myself; personally; from the Loire Valley area of France.
