Gorgeous Italian Faience Terracotta Horse Head

Dramatic and decorative terracota horse head sculpture
Stunning example of Italian pottery from around the 1960's.

Beautifully crafted and assumed to be mould made with extensive hand finishing to the lifelike details. 
Finished in a classic white faience glaze.
One of the nicest examples of this form that I've come across.
An unusual but impressive decorators piece.

In excellent 'as made' condition with the typical production flaws and variations seen in these pieces. No chips or cracks. Some very very slight age-related crazing.
This is a vintage sculpture and may well show signs of use and wear commensurate with age.
