Gorgeous Georgian Open Elbowed Armchair
Late 18th Century.
Wonderful craftmanship to the carved mahogany which has developed a glorious golden / reddish patina over the years, this chair has really been loved and cared for.
Intricate carving to the vertical splats and the front of the armrests, raised on square tapered legs.
Later upholstered in Laura Ashley Palmetto fabric.
Approx. Max, Dims: H; 850mm (33.5"), W: 520mm (20.5"), D: 530mm (21"), SH: 480mm (19").
In excellent antique condition, no signs of damage or repair. A few very minor bumps to the framework as one might expect, upholstery in excellent condition, again no rips or tears, the odd mark. A truely pleasing armchair. 
I do have another armchair available with the same Laura Ashley Palmetto upholstery in a slightly differing shade.
This is an original antique and may well show signs of use and wear commensurate with age.
