Stunning Antique French Gilt Wood and Stucco Armchair. Circa 1830's.

A gorgeous French gold gilt wood and stucco armchair.
From around the early 1800's. 
Wonderfully craved and detailed throughout, I guess the photographs say it all.
Mounted upon cabriole legs.
Original upholstery.

The armchair is in good condition commensurate with age and use. Structurally sound, there are a few loose joints and some minor loss to the decal of the frame. The upholstery is original, has signs of wear to the seat and the back of the chair. A couple of minor tears to the seat. Can be kept as is, as the chair oozes charisma and patina or could possibly be restoration project if you wish. Either way, this is a gorgeous armchair that has been loved and used for 200 years.
